Women’s Free Open Mat in Long Beach, NY — June 13th at West End Jiu Jitsu Club
West End Jiu Jitsu Club is excited to host a Women’s Free Open Mat on Saturday, June 13th at 12:30 PM at our academy in Long Beach, NY. This event is open to women of all experience levels — from someone stepping on the mats for the very first time to experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioners looking to train in a friendly, welcoming environment.
This open mat is a great chance to come in, ask questions, meet other women from the local community, and get a feel for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a low-pressure setting. Whether your goal is self-defense, fitness, confidence, competition, or simply trying something new, this is a perfect opportunity to get started.
The event is completely free. Bring a Gi if you have one, but it is not required. Just come ready to move, learn, and meet some great people. The open mat will be overseen by women who are already experienced and involved in Jiu Jitsu, so beginners are absolutely welcome.
